Synopsis
An audio recording of Olaf Breuning's talk at Arnolfini in May 2010.
Details
Olaf Breuning's photographs, installations, sculptures, films and drawings are irreverent, tragically heroic and funny. His investigations into everyday imagery and 'Google Culture' submerge the viewer with a relentless deluge of references, clues and frustrating deadends. Breuning is currently engaged in a commission for St Paul's Park, Bristol which he will discuss with the curator of the project Gordon Dalton. This will be followed by a conversation around his practice with Adam Sutherland, Director of Grizedale Art. Following the talk, there will be a screening of Breuning's film Home 2.
